These pictures (35mm slides) of the USS Stickell (DD-888). They were taken in
1958, from USS Franklin D Roosevelt (CVA-42). Though I now own the slides, I
would be remiss to not mention that the pictures were taken by Jim Mulligan. They
are provided for posting on your website for the enjoyment of former crewmen.
You can tell by the tilt of the FDR flight deck that the seas were running a bit
high!! (I served on USS Midway (CV-41) from 1984-1992 as a helicopter crewman
and rescue swimmer).
